LIT | September 18, 2021 | 8pm
Come party at the Sculpture Park this Fall! LIT is free and open to the public. Attendees will have a chance to see the Sculpture Park at night, featuring illuminated sculptures, watch live dance performances and a film debut, as well as enjoy refreshments. All attendees are encouraged to bring a flashlight. Throughout the park, 14 pieces will be illuminated featuring sculpture lighting design by Matthew Kirsch and projection mapping design by River Akemann. Live dance will be performed by Point Dance Ensemble Company Members. Point Dance Ensemble will debut choreography by Madeline Prokop at the beginning of the event followed by improvisational dance at different locations in the park throughout the night. Sean Welch will debut his film ‘Night Trees’ at Extended Point.
The Stevens Point Sculpture Park is all volunteer-run and is only possible with the help of private donors, corporate support from TDS Telecom, and grants through the Community Foundation of Central.
We know Wisconsin, so a tent will protect us from all sorts of weather surprises. As with all of our events, there is no admission charge, but we will accept donations since the park is 100% run by your generosity. Thanks for your interest, and please join us for this exciting fall bash!
